Estamos dedicados a proveer un lugar del refugio al Comunidad Hispana para mostrar el amor de Jesucristo.
Ofrecemos cultos en español cada domingo a las 11:00 por la mañana y por 7pm en la noche, un estudio bíblico y culto de oración cada miércoles a las 7:00 por la noche.
Ofrecemos clases de ingles, tutores para la tarea escolar de los niños, servicios de traducción e interpretación.
Siempre hay cuidar para niños y refrescos para todos

Our Mission, Ministry, and Vision |

The PHOP Hispanic Ministry's Mission is to reach out to the Hispanic community in the Roanoke Valley area with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This ministry is now a PHOP Hispanic church plant (La Mision Hispana) that ministers to the spiritual needs of the growing Hispanic communities of this area.
We offer ESL (English as a second language) classes and 11am & 7pm Sunday worship services. Wednesdays at 7pm we have a Bible study and prayer service during which we provide tutoring for school age kids, activities and refreshments.
Mondays we pass out donated food supplies and tracts door to door in local needy communities.
Another way we are making contacts and building relationships is by offering interpretation for medical and legal situations.

History of the Hispanic Ministry |

* In June of 2004 there was a need to start English classes for Hispanics.
* Our pastor approved starting the classes and our first class started with six Hispanics; one from Mexico, three from El Salvador and two from Columbia.
* The English classes continue with 12-week courses of basic conversational English. We have had up to 60 in attendance representing 9 Spanish speaking countries!
* We outgrew the facilities on the main campus of PHOP and began La Mision Hispana church in 2008.
* With our services in Spanish, interpreting and outreach activities, we now minister to over 100 Hispanics on a weekly basis.
