By the grace of God, BRUT men’s ministry of Parkway House of Prayer exists to win men to the Lord, build men into spiritually mature disciples of Jesus Christ, and send men out into the Father’s field to assist in the harvesting of souls.
Why Men’s Ministry? (Statistics from MAN 2 MAN)
· 100 kids show up to church – 20-25 families follow
· 100 wives show up to church – 20 families follow
· 100 husbands show up to church – 97 families follow
· 5% of Christian men have a best friend
· 37 seconds is the average daily time a father spends one on one with a pre-schooler
· 38 hours per week is the average time a child spends in front of media
· 24 million children live absent from their biological father
· 62% of Christian men say that sexual lust is their #1 temptation
· 11 days (accumulative hours) is the total time that a dad talks with his child in a lifetime
· 12 years (accumulative hours) is the total time a father works in a lifetime
· 85% of lay leadership in the church in America are women
